Compared to seeds of Yellow Mustard, these seeds give a more intense flavour to the dishes. The aroma of this tiny seeds is characteristic of mustard and give a bitter, spicy and aromatic taste.
A mild nutty seed that can be added to chutneys. Fry in a little oil until they start to pop and add to a simple carrot salad with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add to curries, chutneys and bread.
