Salinas del Alemán is located in the Marismas de Isla Cristina Natural Park, bathed by the mouth of the Carreras River and the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, in a unique location in one of the areas with the greatest ornithological diversity in the province of Huelva. It is a large wetland with great ecological value due to the enormous plant and animal diversity that makes it up. It is in this magnificent context that we find Salinas del Alemán, the only Andalusian salt mine with 100% artisanal salt extraction and organic certification. The most iconic product of these salt flats is the salt flakes, a fleur de sel with a soft, crunchy and less salty texture.
