Pasto began in 1992 with four curry pastes that supplied the local curry house. The word spread and suddenly the curry pastes were already supplying the whole country.

In 1995, a retail range was created so everyone could enjoy the joys of authentic Indian food and cooking in their own homes. The problem was that everything on the market was mass-produced and contained saturated fats, E numbers, additives, preservatives, thick starches, and far too much water. From that day Pasco made it our mission to create natural, honest flavors.
Five years later and after a lot of curry making, was created a 100% natural cooking sauce that was free from additives, preservatives, and was gluten-free and authentic!
Then, Pasco decided to grow their own spices on their own farm plantations in India and work in partnership with farmers to allow them to be in control of the best spices and herbs from day one.
To reduce the carbon footprint and support our environment Pasco use the freshest cream, yogurt, and vegetables from local Lancashire farmers and they only use sea cargo, never air cargo.
Pasco range was grown and now, they don’t just manufacture Indian pastes, they also create new and creative products.
Pasco believes that food in its purest state is the best tasting and most nutritious food there is, and they wish to share these values with you all.
