Yutaka’s Fukujinzuke pickles consist of an exciting sweet and sour mix of vegetables including radish, cucumber, lotus root, aubergine, ginger and purple perilla, pickled in soy sauce with added spices and sesame and perilla seeds.
Pickles are an important component of Japanese cuisine. These thin slices of vegetables, heavily saturated in preservative spices, often form the sour component of a traditional Japanese meal.

Vegetables (86%) [Radish, Cucumber, Lotus root, Aubergine, Ginger, Purple Perilla], Soy sauce [Water, Soybeans, Wheat, Salt], Salt, Sugar, Flavour enhancer [Monosodium glutamate], Water, Acidity regulators [Citric acid, Acetic acid], Sweetener [Aspartame*], Colour [Anthocyanins], Sesame seeds, Perilla spice, Preservative [Potassium sorbate]. *Contains a source of Phenylalanine.
Storage:
Store in a cool and dry place. Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days.

Can be enjoyed on their own, served with rice or, the most common use, sprinkled over katsu curry.
