Le Conserve della Nonna’s Catarino Bean, White Bean, and Chickpea Mix — also known internationally as Armonia di Legumi — is the brand’s classic and traditional trio in the legume segment. This combination was created to offer a rich, nutritious, and highly versatile base for the most comforting dishes of Italian cuisine.
This mix brings together three complementary textures and flavors: the creaminess of Borlotti beans, the firm consistency of chickpeas, and the smoothness of white beans. The legumes are simply cooked in brine, ready to eat, and rich in vegetable protein. Without preservatives, artificial colors, or additives, maintaining the focus on the authenticity of the ingredients.
It is the ideal and immediate base for preparing a classic Italian vegetable soup; simply heat and add a drizzle of good quality extra virgin olive oil. For a richer and more substantial hot dish, it is excellent sautéed in a pan with diced bacon (pancetta) and rosemary. It can be eaten cold or warm, mixed with chopped red onion, canned tuna, and fresh parsley.
