Product Description
Le Conserve della Nonna’s Lentil Ragout is a rich and flavorful ready-to-use vegetable sauce, ideal for those seeking a vegetarian or vegan alternative to classic meat ragù. Produced by the Italian brand Le Conserve della Nonna, this product stands out for recreating the comfort of traditional home cooking with simple and natural ingredients. 100% plant-based, it’s an excellent source of vegetable protein thanks to the lentils, and is naturally meat-free. It’s ready to use; simply heat over low heat for a few minutes before tossing into the pasta. Its flavor is traditional, based on a classic Italian sauté (carrot, celery, and onion sofrito) with high-quality tomato extract. It pairs perfectly with thicker long pastas like tagliatelle, pici, or pappardelle. It’s delicious served warm on a slice of toasted rustic bread with a drizzle of olive oil as Bruschetta. It can also be used as the main filling for a vegetable lasagna.
