Present a surprising French classic of snails in their shells with this box of Helix Lucorum Snails Shells.
Snails are considered a kind of French delicacy – often referred to as “escargot” and often cooked with butter, chopped spring onion, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. Burgundy snail is generally regarded as the best of snails by gastronomes. This Jar contains at least three dozen shells of “very large” Helix Snails.
Ingredients:
Helix Lucorum Snail Shells.
Preparation Suggestion:
Rinse each shell, put a knob of prepared butter, then a snail in each shell and cover with more butter. Place in a pre-heated oven and serve when the butter begin to boil.
Usage Suggestions:
Butter Preparation: (for 3 dozen) Butter 150g, Shallot 15g, Chopped Parsley 15g, Chopped Garlic (10g), salt, pepper and spices to taste. Finely chop the shallot and garlic and add the parsley. Mix with butter and add pepper and spices to taste.
