Orange & Juniper Cream Milk

Ingredients

  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 12 egg yolks
  • 1 l milk
  • 2 orange peels
  • 4 juniper berries

Preparation Method

  1. Pour a little milk into a bowl, add the cornflour and mix well to avoid lumps. Put aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and the egg yolks.
  3. Place the remaining milk in a pan, add the orange zest and juniper berries and bring to a boil. Gradually add to the egg yolk mixture and stir vigorously.
  4. Add the cornstarch and stir very well so as not to form lumps.
  5. Remove the orange peel and the juniper and leave to thicken. Remove from the heat, pour into small bowls, and serve decorated to taste.
