Chicken Empanadas

Ingredients

  • 1 package of tapas for empanadas (Frying)
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken breast
  • 4 pieces of boiled potato
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste or sauce
  • pepper
  • salt
  • frying oil

Preparation Method

  1. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix the chicken, potatoes, and tomato paste or sauce. Adjust the flavor with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Arrange the chicken empanada dough on a flat surface. Put a little stuffing in the center, close like an empanada.
  3. Fry the empanadas in hot oil until they are golden brown. Remove to a plate with absorbent paper and let the excess oil drain.
  4. Serve and enjoy these chicken empanadas, perfect to serve as a starter or snack, or even a main course.
